eLearning Platform for Education in the Digital Health Domain

Abstract

In the curent context digitalization of every domains it is important, mainly in education. The COVID pandemic shows us that eLearning is important if we want to have a qualitative education and the information required in a specific domain to be accesible to persons which want to learn more. The healthcare domain should be digitalized and for this it is important to have specialized persons in the domain of digital health. To achieve this, it is important to focus on offering support to medical students, digital health students, and medical staff to gainthe knowledge in digital health  domain, to have all the important information in one place and monitorized. That is why we build the Edi-Health platform as a web based application, developed using Visual Studio.NET 2019, ASP.NET pages and C# language, a cloud based database so the platform will be always available. The Edi-Health platform will be available in two languages (Romanian and English) where the user (student, medical staff) can start to learn about digital health domain, make different exercises, access quizess and get feedback about their activity in the platform and personalized suggestions to what they should learn more to a better understanding of the concepts in the digital health domain.
