Abstract

The mission of the hospital is to take measures in order to enhance the efficiency, shorten patient waiting time and improve quality of treatments. Among those measures is enhancing the accuracy and efficiency of Hospital Information Systems (HIS). This enhancement is currently an attractive option that draws the attention of an increasing numbers of hospitals. In this paper, we propose a global architecture for the development of a HIS. This paper shows a coherent architectural that allows the development of interoperable HIS in case they evolve.
