Abstract

The aim of the present research is to study the fundamental characteristics of the suicidal and parasuicidal behavior in the population of the city of Cluj-Napoca for a period of ten years (1985-1994).
The correlation with the data of the last census (7 January 1992) emphasized certain social and ethnic peculiarities of the suicides taken into study.
