Abstract

Images are very important in pathology so we present a practical multimedia pattern for the courses of pathology. We used a PC with the following characteristics: Pentium MMX processor, 166 MHz frequency, 6.4 Gb hard disk and 64 SDRAM memory. The operating system was Windows95, which is easy to use due to its friendly user interface. The software used was Adobe Photoshop 4.0 – a simple tool for image processing. Adobe is considered an application by means of which the reality can be processed and a powerful tool by means of which the old family photos can be recovered. The presentations were created using PowerPoint 8.0 (a powerful tool for creating presentations) for courses and practical stages and Netscape Composer for tests and presentations that will be sent through Internet.
