The Renal Transplantation: Digital Display of Information in Interactive Form as an Educational Method of Computer Assisted Instruction
Keywords:
Renal transplant, Computer.Abstract
The accumulation of medical information, namely surgical, even in centres with an intense specific activity requires years of activity near the patient's bed and in the surgical theatre. On the other hand, the process through which the practitioner learns the standardized surgical techniques but especially the surgical alternatives, is accomplished classically only by the side of a "master", also in years. According to the confessed wish to share the surgical experience of the Renal Transplantation Centre Cluj-Napoca in present the most important in Romania- we made together with the Multimedia Technologies and Distance Learning Centre-Cluj, an interactive digital display CD on the standardized and particular surgical aspects on a series of over 200 renal transplants, made between 1992-1998.
