Abstract

The informatics strategies pervade more and more in domain of biology. Markov Chain is a stochastic process that model natural phenomenons. Biological sequences (the DNA sequence between genes and other important regions) can be modeled as series of stochastic events. This paper present most of the aspects of discrete Markov Chain and their applications in Bioinformatics.
