Abstract

Greasy skin and acne are the most frequent problems of the skin of teenagers. For this reason the aim of this paper, is to analyze the role of natural phospholipids in the treatment of this disease. I made a study on volunteers, aged between 13 and 18, which suffered from Acne Vulgarism. After a six-week treatment, consisting of Soya beans vegetal extract, the sebum secretion decreased and the clinically observable acne symptoms (comedones, efflorescences) are visibly diminished. This is due to linoleic acid, consisting up to 70% in phospatidyl-choline.
