Abstract

Analysis of data is one of the major tasks concerning the managers in all domains, including the medical area. This paper presents an example of medical data analysis using ® SQL Server™ 2000 Analysis Services. In the first part of the paper is an introduction in which are presented general concept of data warehouse, online analytical processing and cubes. The second part contains the analysis of the data. Finally are the conclusions and the references. This paper does not want to drag the conclusions of data analysis for the chosen case, only to present the instrument.
