A Ranking Procedure by Multiple Criteria of the Surgical Techniques for Anterior Hypospadias

Abstract

In this work we propose a statistical ranking procedure to evaluate eight surgical techniques for anterior hypospadias, using the multi criteria evaluations for a group of patients. The ranking procedure of treatments is based on a set of interval weights for the considered criteria. We apply an aggregation method in order to obtain a global score for each patient. Finally, by this scoring method the treatment ranking is obtained by decreasing ordering of the average and standard deviation of scores for patients. Some alternative procedures involving statistical comparisons for obtaining partial ranking after each characteristic are proposed.
