Abstract

Cardiovascular diseases represents the first cause of mortality in Romania. Anatomopathologic and epidemiologic studies shown that the accumulation of lipid-containing plaques on the innermost layer of the wall of coronary vessels, in youth is in relation with some risk factors: corporal fat, high blood pressure and adverse lipid profile.  The main objectives of the paper are to investigate some cardiovascular risk factors and the relations between them in teenagers.
